Happy Bank Holiday Weekend to all our patients and their families! ?

We are slowly working our way through the treatments we had to cancel during the lockdown. We haven’t forgotten about you! ? Once we have got these out of the way and the government eases the restrictions imposed on us, we will be able to start seeing our patients for routine examinations again.

Good Evening! A little update on where we are at.

Things are still very slow for us and all dental practices due to a lack of consistent PPE supply, Government regulations and the 4 month backlog of appointments we have to catch up on after our period of enforced closure. We are only able to work at around 20% of our normal capacity and the current Covid level means our front door must be locked.

We are currently not able to offer routine examinations and are working hard to complete the urgent outstanding treatment some of our patients are still waiting for from before the start of the coronavirus pandemic. We are all very grateful for your patience in this challenging time. We apologise if your appointment is moved or cancelled.

If you have an urgent dental need, please contact the practice on the usual telephone numbers (Wibsey : 01274 679378,  Whetley Lane: 01274 545270) and we will assist you in the most appropriate way.

Our staff have done an incredible job in these difficult times and we will do all we can to restore a normal service as soon as is allowed. We thank you for your patience.

Good morning from Rayner Dental Practice!

So, ‘hibernation’ is coming to an end and many businesses are beginning to slowly re-open with specific restrictions. What does that mean for us here at Rayner Dental Practice and our patients?

Well, the government is allowing us to see our patients for emergencies only. Routine exams are sadly still on hold, as directed to by the government and attendance at the practice is by invitation only following a telephone consultation with one of our dentists. Their guidance specifically wants us to avoid face to face contact if at all possible. However, if you do have a dental problem, please do not be afraid to phone for advice. We are here to help. You can contact us via our website at www.raynerdental.co.uk , Facebook or Instagram if you have a non-urgent query.

We kindly ask that anyone wanting to access non-urgent dental care (such as check-ups or non-urgent treatment) bear with us as we try to prioritise urgent care. Much of our treatment is limited due to government regulation around limiting the spread of coronavirus and the lack of special PPE we require when drilling. The use of the drill by the government is classified as a high risk occupation due to the aerosol production.

For those of you we have had to cancel or be put on an emergency list, we will be in touch as soon as we can. We haven’t forgotten about you!
