Many people are self-conscious about their smiles, particularly if their teeth are not perfectly straight or in alignment. That is where Invisalign can help.
- What Is Invisalign?
Invisalign is the modern answer to braces! Invisalign technologically takes a 3D image of your teeth, both in their original position and in their intended position. Once your dentist has this image, they can formulate a treatment plan using the clear aligners.
- What Is Invisalign Made From?
We all like to know what we are putting in our mouth, so you can rest assured that Invisalign is made from high quality strong thermoplastic material that is BPA (Bisphenol-A) free material.
- How Does Invisalign Work?
Invisalign works by gently manipulating the teeth over a series of months to ensure they align into the correct position. In fact, different teeth can be maneuvered into position at different rates, which may be necessary for some dental conditions.
- How Long Will The Treatment Take?
You should allow around 12 months to get the full benefit from Invisalign, although it may take longer with more complex dental needs. Sometimes it takes only 6 months!
- Will People See My Invisalign?
Invisalign is virtually invisible to others, unless they are close up and personal
- Will Invisalign Work On Overbites?
Overbites can be quite complex, so although it is possible, you will need to discuss this in full with your dentist at Rayner Dental Practice
- How much does Invisalign Cost?
It can vary depending on the number of aligners you need and if you require any before or after preparatory work but is usually between £2500-£3000. Link to Fee Guide.
- Do you offer a monthly payment plan?
Yes, we do! Further details can be found here.
- Can I Remove The Invisalign aligners?
Yes, you can remove Invisalign aligners it at any time, but bear in mind it needs to stay in your mouth as long as possible to do its job (about 22 hours a day), even at night. However, it should be removed when you attend to oral hygiene and it can also be cleaned at this point.
10 .How Do I Clean Invisalign?
Warm, soapy water is sufficient to clean Invisalign and its trays. Getting into a routine of doing this first thing in the morning when you clean your own teeth is the best way to ensure your Invisalign is kept in optimum condition.
